As promised...

Hello, darlings!

It took me a few weeks to do this follow-up post from February 28th. I am genuinely SORRY. It is challenging due to work constraints, and I need to learn the art of dedicating time and NEVER PROCRASTINATE.

So let's get the ball rolling. As a make-up enthusiast, I am constantly searching for the perfect make-up. That means countless visits to beauty boutiques or sites. I get excited every time I see a new product and use them all (as an experiment) sometimes. At a Make-up For Ever's HD launch last year, founder Dany Sanz shared that primers are meant to be used as is and should not be layered on with another type of primer. And I agree with learning from my own experience (I will not go into detail for now but could blog about it).

The photos below, as promised, were all taken in 1 week. I used the same products (except for a change in lipstick colour) and tested it by taking a selfie under different natural lighting conditions and time of the day but tried to maintain the angle and, of course, the same spot - which is by a big window.

I love Too Faced's Primed and Poreless Primer and Powder. The trick is, if you are going to use it, DO NOT LAYER IT with similar products, or you will end up having a "Casper-like" veil on your face. Though comparable in performance with Make-up For Ever Skin Equalizer primer, should you wish to use them both at the same time, I recommend applying each product on specific problem areas to avoid overlap, or you will end up having an "exfoliating patch" (meaning like peeling skin similar to when you are using a pencil eraser) on that area. Also, use it sparingly, as a little goes a long way.

I feel pretty and almost flawless (in standard magnification, LOL).

Until then, please stay tuned for the next post....
